Lanjigarh: Noted Oriya Cine Star Mr Mihir Das has visited the Vedanta Aluminium Limited, lanjigarh on 21st March 2009. During his visit Mr Das had interacted with inhabitants of “Niyamgiri Vedanta Nagar” the R&R colony of the company. He had also overseen some of the CSR initiatives of the Company by paying a visit to the peripheral villages and interacting with the villagers. He strongly applauded the CSR initiatives of Vedanta in the region and said that other corporate houses and civil society bodies should come to Lanjigarh to see all these phenomenal developments and should emulate the same in the other part of the state. The Chief Opearting Officer (COO) of VAL, Lanjigarh Dr Mukesh Kumar had accompanied him during his visit.
